About ALBA HOME
“Aesthetics are everything” became Linda Carbutt’s mantra, passed down from her designer mother. “As children, in lieu of rattles, we had paint brushes in our hands.” Unable to escape her inherent genes, Linda opened a high-end, contemporary, european furniture showroom in New York’s 200 Lex Design Center. Projects included designing MTV’s executive offices, boardrooms for Revlon and innumerable other commercial and residential spaces. Prior to immersing herself in designing interiors, Linda’s career background was widely diversified. In Washington DC, she coordinated the Radio & Television and White House Correspondent’s Dinners, was the Managing Director of Boston’s famed Charles Playhouse and Special Events Director of The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Linda also designed yacht interiors for Neptunus Yachts based in Holland. Leaving NYC for a “kinder, gentler life,” Linda has been designing residential and commercial spaces from the Hamptons to NYC, to the hidden homes of Bucks County and New Jersey proper. |
